Course InstructionĀ Ā |Ā 

The course will combine both theory and hands on practical modules. The two day course will build on the techniciansā€™ orthodontic laboratory skills, and further their knowledge in the more advanced areas of orthodontic laboratory technology. The two practical modules include the fabrication of a functional appliance - Twin Block including a 3 way expansion screw and a rapid maxillary expander (RME) using a Leone Memoria LEAF Spring Expander. The course will develop the techniciansā€™ practical orthodontic laboratory skills whilst exposing them to the next level of advanced orthodontics.



On completion of the course the delegate will be awarded 12 hours verifiable CPD.

Ed Qualified as a dental technician in 1974 at the Eastman Dental Hospital where he progresses through his career and achieved the position of Chief Technical Instructor. After spending 48 successful years at the Eastman, Ed has now retired from the Eastman Dental Hospital and works for a number of different clinicians from his own private lab. Ed is an experienced lecturer having spoken around the world on the subject of dental technology.Ā
